A CAPSULE CLOSET FOR WOMEN BOHEMIAN STYLE PERSONALITY

Bohemian style is characterized by whimsical, flowing fabrics, fun patterns and artful layering.
Bohemian style has always been an alternative style to the fashion trends of a particular time. It incorporates ideas from around the world and from history.
It is a style characterized by long, loose and colorful clothing and is usually associated with the hippie era of peace and love. It is particularly associated with creative people like artists, musicians and writers.
If you consider yourself a gipsy, boho fashion is the ideal way to express your artistic and earthy personality.
Boho chic was all the rage in the 60s and early 70s and has been revived in recent years by celebrities such as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and the Olsen twins. They have taken this simple look and added their special touches of glitz and glamour for a hippie-luxe look.
The bohemian style is undoubtedly fun, but how can you wear it without looking like you’re stuck in the 70s? Here’s how women dress up boho-style and looking like new stylish women.
CHARACTERISTIC ELEMENTS OF BOHO STYLE
The main elements of boho style are long, loose layers, tassels, fringes, natural fabrics, patchwork, cashmere and lots of jewelers.
YOU ARE PROBABLY CREATIVE
Not everyone with a bohemian style or elements of it works in the creative industries, but there is probably a creative side to you, even if it manifests itself in your free time or hobbies rather than your day job.
Your outfits are one way of expressing this.

  1. CHOOSE LOOSE, FLOWING FABRICS.
Comfortable, loose and flowing fabrics are part of the boho vibe. An easy way to achieve the look is to wear a flowy scarf top.
You will look more bohemian than old hippie if you focus on two things: Quality and size. The most stylish, high-quality scarves are made from luxurious, high-end fabrics. Choose a soft, silky fabric, linen or muslin, and a well-made weave around the edges. If your top is too coarse, too thin or too sheer, it will look cheap.
And while a scarf that’s too loose is fine, if it’s too bulky or too long, you’ll end up looking like you’re wrapping a tablecloth.
This tall scarf has a nice bohemian feel to it. It’s on the elegant side and the V-neck is very flattering for several reasons:
showing a little skin is youthful,
V-necks draw the eye down along the center of the body, making you look longer and leaner. Also, this neck scarf is cut asymmetrically, which I think is great for you. The back and sides are longer, making the top look more artistic.
  2. WEAR FLARED JEANS
Soft, faded jeans or white skinny jeans are very west coast and very boho. Paired with a luxe floral scarf or a tunic and a boho peasant top, they look very chic.
Ankle boots and skinnies also look great, but if you really want that retro vibe, a pair of flares is the answer. Bonus? Flared trousers are a great way to balance out your wide hips.
  3. HAVE FUN WITH FUN PRINTS
Boho clothing makes an artistic statement, often with fun prints that are wild, colorful and flowing.
If you want to put yourself in the shoes of a bohemian, look for pieces with bold prints and varied colors. This fabulous swirl print dress has a fun bohemian look. A sleek clutch and patent leather sandals give it a more modern, bohemian look.
  4. TRY ON A LONG DRESS
There’s no better way to be bohemian than with a good maxi. This mixed print dress with a ruffled hem is a classic bohemian chic style. The round-shoulder neckline, bell sleeves and suede heels bring it up to date with current trends. A chic white bag with a structured shape makes this look more “Haute hippie” than hippie.
  5. MIXING PRINTS
The best way to express your inner gipsy (I know it’s out there) is to mix two prints. The floral print is soft, feminine and very elegant. It goes beautifully with the geometric print of the fabric. And also it possible to mix prints in the same outfit. For example, mix a floral top with a paisley skirt.
  6. SHOW OFF YOUR OUTFIT.
Do you watch Grace and Frankie on Netflix? Yes, I’m often drawn to Lily Tomlin’s character, Frankie, because of the way she dresses. Her style is definitely bohemian and funky. She always requires a lot of layers.
A long textured jacket, waistcoat or cardigan over a wide-leg jumpsuit is a great way to make it more bohemian. Strappy sandals and multiple necklaces and bracelets can also add layers.
A word of caution. Too many nappies or too many “tricks” can make you look sloppy. This is a risk with bohemian attire, so don’t dress up. Just throw on your bohemian nappies and wink, and you’ll be clean and stylish.
  7. INCORPORATE EARTHY TONES
Natural colors are another important element of the bohemian style. If you don’t like garish colors, you’ll love the soothing greens, golds, browns, reds and blues that are synonymous with this earthy style. Natural colored leather accessories will complement these hues. High-quality leather keeps the look modern and elegant.
  8. ADD SOME FRINGE.
Fringes are fun, fringes are flirty, fringes are an important part of the bohemian look. A tasselled waistcoat, a cute tasselled bag, tasselled designer sandals and tasselled earrings are great ways to add a little bohemian flair to your look. Keep it classy and don’t be boring with it and quickly opt for fewer tassels instead of more.
  9. PLAY WITH PALAZZO TROUSERS
Loose, fluffy palazzo trousers that rip when you walk are awful. You can wear them the “traditional” way – with a white tee and denim jacket for a simple summer look – or you can “jazz it up” with something like linen tunic with an asymmetrical slit.
One of the things I like about this casual look is that it’s comfortable and forgiving when it’s important to hide your tummy. Let’s face it; once you hit 40, it’s a big problem for a lot of people.
I suggest you give your clothes some structure so they don’t get lost on slippery surfaces, you can easily do this with shoes and a bag that has some structure. A round bag is perfect for this.
